far & free in the Community: essentiels pop up vol. 5

It may be cold, but the sun is still shining, and spring is just around the corner. I was thrilled to be included in essentiels pop up volume 5, a women-led company that hosts communities of local businesses in a modern Gastown boutique with timeless charm. Shoppers were invited from February 12-13 to discover a curated assortment of products from jewelry and florals to apparel and our very own far & free sunglasses.

The local community came out in full support of the small businesses that weekend and I was excited to share my start-up story with them. I enjoyed watching people try on the different styles, getting real-time reactions from their friends and family. With the entire collection out on display, it offered the chance to experience how different each shape felt on temples and fit on noses. While some may have fit like a glove, others needed minor adjustments, which I was happy to do on the spot using my trusty frame heater.
